Anchorage:

Second Valley anchorage is a small inlet in Yankalilla Bay just over a mile SW of the marina at Wirrina. There are sandy patches east of the jetty. While the area between the jetty and the boat sheds to the west can look promising, there is little room to swing.

Comments:

There is a jetty and small beach, with a store associated with a caravan park up the road about ½ km. The rocky outcrop past the boat sheds gives some protection in a light sou'westerly, although any swell tends to make it's presence felt in the anchorage.

20/05/05 Alan and Fay Duncan, Amarina We have only used this anchorage in summer in prevailing SE breezes. If the wind moves towards the N, it is time to go to the marina.
