Knob Point is a conspicuous headland between Cape Cassini and Stokes Bay. It has a small reef that provides some protection to the small cove to the west. Anchor in patches of sand in the cove.


If the swell or wind from the west makes the anchorage uncomfortable, move around the small reef to Mares Tail, an anchorage about 2 miles further east
